1998 Dodge QuadCab SLT Sport 3500 Dually 4 Door 4X4 5 Spd 12 valve Cummins Do not waste your money on an auto-check, this truck has had 2 owners, both the same family, elderly father/adult 30+ yr old son and no accidents. Please ignore eBay's ridiculous shipping calculator, it quotes $598 to Albuquerque NM (216 miles) where I ship trucks on a regular basis for $150. The Good Stuff:This is a very rare truck, if you're a 12 valve guy you already know, but there were only a few months in 1998 when Dodge built a quad cab with 4 doors, a 12 valve engine and an NV4500 5 speed transmission. This truck is a cream puff, was adult owned, never abused, towed a 2 horse trailer, never chipped, is bone stock right down to the stereo, super tight, straight and completely dry southwest desert rust free (see photos) This truck had excellent maintenance and has never been off road. We gave her a fresh service, new oil/filter, new fuel filter, new air filter, new rear brakes and axle seals, new front engine seal, checked all fluids and installed 6 brand new Cooper HT3 tires. Equipped with a very strong running 12 valve Cummins, 5 spd transmission, power driver's seat, cold AC, power windows/locks/cruise control/fog lights/CB radio, trailer brakes, B&W turn over ball in the bed, bed liner, front bench seat with drop down console so you have seating for 6. The interior on this truck is super clean, the seats were kept covered from day one, never any smoking, kids or pets in this truck. Everything works as it should, it starts, runs, drives and stops excellent in every way, if you are local and a serious cash buyer I urge you to take this truck for a test drive.I reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime without warning. Though in excellent overall condition, this a used 18 year old truck and as you would expect there are a few cosmetic imperfections. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback.There is some light staining on the bottom edge of the driver's seat (see photos)Though clean overall there is some dirt in the carpet and the previous owner installed a new parking brake cable that, although it works, is a little too short, an incorrect part, so it stands up above the carpet (see photos)There is a fairly deep scratch on the right rear dually fender across the word sport (see photos) There is a small "ding" below the rear passenger side window (see photos) There is a small broken area, about 3-4 inches long, underneath the rear drivers side fiberglass dually fender, an easy repair but should be noted (see photos)There are a couple small holes drilled in the dash (see photos)I noticed that the steering box is dripping a little, a common Dodge issue (no photos)Aside from the list above and normal used truck "wear and tear" stuff, this is a super tight, great running, rust free Dodge truck and it will make someone very happy to own it.
