I'm selling my Austin FX3D London Taxi. It has been my daily driver for the past year or so and gets surprisingly good gas mileage. It needs a fair amount of work but can be driven as is. It has a crack in the engine block between the two lower freeze plugs so that will need to be brazed. It doesn't seem to leak once it warms up but when it cools it leaks. It needs a new valve cover gasket, a new oil pan gasket, a new steering box gasket, and a new rear seal on the transmission. It does still have the jackall system but the front jacks are bent and have been removed from the car (they will be in the trunk of the car along with a small box of spare parts). The body is in fair shape with some dings and dents and minor rust. The worst of the rust is in the rear fender wells there is some rust through there and there is a bit of cancer at the bottom of the left hand passenger compartment door. The interior is in very good shape, The drivers seat is not original but the rest of the interior looks original although re-covered (newer vinyl). The electrical all seems to work except for the meter light. The blinkers are on a toggle on the dash and the horn is a push button also on the dash. the steering wheel center is damaged so the switches had to be moved. The Left front brake is sticking on slightly, but it can still drive and stop. It's been a fun car but it's time to let someone with the resources and time give it the attention it needs.
