If you want a Thunderbolt clone, this is the one and only car that you can use. It must be a 1964 Fairlane 500 2 door post. This car is a virtually rust free California vehicle. I bought it from an owner who had it from the 1980s. He brought it from California to New Mexico and stored it in the high desert area of New Mexico covered for many years. The paint looks to be original. I have cleaned it out completely and put it on a lift. The only rust I can find is some small holes on the driver's side floorboard where it must have had a windshield leak at one time. The door weep holes are even completely intact. The previous owner had bought a donor car and removed the front of the floorboard from it, and that comes with the car. I also have numerous additional stainless trim pieces, as shown in the pictures. Some of the interior trim panels are included and the original back seat is included. The front seats have been replaced. The original 289 block and transmission come with the car, if you want them. A 302 is in it now that smokes but does run. The column shifter was disconnected and a floor shifter was poorly installed and does not hold gear well. This is an awesome opportunity for a "Ford guy" to make the street car of his dreams. I just have too many projects to ever complete.
