Vehicle Detail
1984 Mustang SVO. I've had it for about 10 years, but seldom drive it. Time to sell it to someone who will use it. Just after buying it in 2005, I replaced the clutch, front brake rotors, all brake hoses and pads, timing belt, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The car is rust free, and sits in the garage most of the time, and hasn't been driven in snow. The exterior paint is mostly original, and when cleaned and waxed, looks good. Since its mostly original, I was hesitant to repaint it. It has a few dings, but all panels are original. The interior is very nice except for the usual wear items. The leather on the steering wheel, shift knob, and parking brake handle should be redone. The dash pad and console lid/ armrest have some cracks. It has the original AM/FM/ cassette radio. The only bad spot on the seats is the driver's seat outer bolster, where the stitching came undone. It's not ripped though. Some of the side trims were coming off, so I took them off, and they are in the trunk. The car came from VA originally, and has no license plate bracket holes in the front bumper. I never drilled them either. The car was built 11/02/1983, so its a very early model. It has the "slapper bars" in the back instead of the quad shocks introduced later. The brakes still have over 3/4 life left, I flushed the brake fluid last year, and the 4 new tires have about 1000 miles on them. The only reason I'm selling it is because even when its registered, I barely drive it. The car has had no modifications done to it. The car runs fine, doesn't use oil, and the photos show it in "as stored" condition. The photos show the condition of the paint to see what it looks like before waxing. When cleaned up it looks better. On Nov-18-14 at 17:21:35 PST, seller added the following information: I got a question about pictures of the underside. The underside is nice. I just added some pics from an IPhone. The oil pan has the original grey paint flaking off, and some slight surface rust on the bottom. Nothing major. The pictures look worse than it does in person. The other picture shows the surface rust on the exhaust mid pipe. This is a bolt on pipe about 2 feet long, and could be replaced. It has a split on the bottom, and leaks some. I just thought I should note that. The rest of the exhaust is ok. Any questions just ask.
