For sale is my Classic 1955 Ford Thunderbird which is in excellent condition. This car lives a comfortable life in a heated garage and I only drive it on dry, sunny weekends….for real. Selling the car to make room for the next car on my bucket list. Exterior of the car is in very good condition and shows very well. The body is straight with no rust or dents. Car was painted once, approximately 12 years ago. Paint color is the original “Thunderbird Blue” (Turquoise). There is some minor paint orange peel on top of each fender near the windshield. All exterior chrome is in excellent condition. Car has its original tinted glass along with its 1955 Pennsylvania inspection sticker. Mileage is 52,163. VIN is P5FH203899 This car has its original 292 CID/198 hp engine and automatic transmission. The complete factory engine dress up kit is in excellent condition. New exhaust system was installed approximately 4 years ago. New 6 volt “correct” battery was installed last year. Original set of Ford keys come with the car. New set of shocks installed on the car last month. The original Holley Tea Pot carburetor was professionally restored 2 years ago by Hill’s Automotive. The original factory hardtop is in good condition and is painted in matching “Thunderbird Blue” paint. Roll around storage cart for the hard top comes with the car. The convertible soft top is Black fabric. Interior color is original Thunderbird blue and white and is in good condition. New NOS carpet was installed 3 years ago. Car has power seat and telescopic steering wheel. I upgraded the cars original AM tube radio with solid state AM/FM for improved reception.….the exterior of the radio is original and unchanged. All gauges in the car operate correctly…including the clock. Wire wheels are in excellent condition and the radial tires make the car a pleasure to drive. Second set of wheels, tires and original hub caps are included. Trunk of the car is in very good condition with no sign of any rust. For those of you who also enjoy reading about Thunderbirds, I am including my collection of CTCI Early Bird magazines dating back almost 35 years. Also included are a new and complete set of CTCI Restoration Manuals. This vehicle is being sold “As Is”.
