1964 Galaxie 500 XL, Project\possible driver? Vehicle needs work, has been sitting for several years. Brakes soft, master cylinder leaking. Engine runs well, appears to have had a recent rebuild, very clean under valve covers, trans shifts good, carb will need rebuild, needs exhaust manifold gaskets. Appears to be a 390, carter 4V carb, dual exhaust, exits in ft of rear tires. Body has some rust issues, corners of doors, needs lower quarters & outer wheel wells, trunk has some rust, floors pretty solid, Crites fiberglass hood. Rear bumper has no rust through. Glass good, rt ft door glass has a loose frame. Interior decent, l f seatback cover has been replaced, rear seats have been recovered, has extra ft seatback & bottom cover, new package tray. Dash pad warped, cracked. Comes with new fuel tank, trunk weatherstrip. Wheels & tires do NOT go with car, will have rollers, older 15 X 8 Cragers. Car could be roadworthy with some mechanical work & tires. Selling for a friend, will try to answer any questions. MUST BE TOWED, not drivable as is, have driven around neighborhood.
