I am selling my 2001 Taurus. I am selling it As-is with no warranty and no refund. I'm pretty sure I'm the third owner. It was my Mother's before it was given to me. I'm gonna be completely honest here, it's in fair to rough condition. It has been a solid vehicle for me through the years. These last couple have been a bit rough on it, though. Below in a list of all of the issues that it currently has. Honestly, this car would be great for someone as a fixer-upper or a parts car. *It has an unknown coolant leak. I haven't seen any drips, but i have to refill the reservoir every 2 to 3 weeks to prevent over heating. *The hood is Grey from a 2003 Taurus and the passenger side Mirror is gold from an '01. *The front passenger door has a big dent and a few scratches. The rear passenger door has a big scratch in it. *The front bumper is cracked and has some paint peeled off. *The engine knocks occasionally for some reason. Possibly an engine mount need to be replaced. *The A/C needs to be recharged *It hasn't had heat for a few years now. *The cigarette lighter doesn't work, but the AUX power port works just fine. *The cruise control stopped working after we fixed the issue with the brake lights getting stuck on. *There is a small chip in the windshield. *The sprayers have never worked as long as I've owned it. Though, i did just get the parts to fix that. I'll include them. If you're still with me, EXCELLENT! Now for what's good. The engine runs fairly smoothly, it still has some good pep. It shifts as smoothly as it should, and also rides smooth. The radio and speakers work just fine, as does the rear window defroster. Windshield wipers are still fairly new and work perfectly. All the lights work just fine, none blown that i have found. This also has a full size spare in the trunk instead of the standard doughnut. Just recently had the oil changed and all the fluids checked and topped off. Also, as a bonus, I have a brand new unpainted front bumper for an '01 that i got at the same salvage yard as the hood and the mirror, that i am including in this sale. I just never seemed to have the time to get it painted and installed. I also have all the hardware that goes to it, plus i have 2 front hood gas charged lift supports. This will be for local pickup only and only upon full payment. I have the title in hand and ready to sign it over to the new owner.
