Polished aluminum timing cover. Mild Edelbrock cam, lifters, and valve-train. Sanderson shorty ceramic coated headers with Flowmaster exhaust. Dual electric fans run off thermostat which has an adjustable digital control near radiator to change during climate changes. The engine was rebuilt and runs outstanding. The engine has a nice throaty sound and is not overbuilt, but packs plenty of power. This truck was built for shows, cruising, and mostly reliability. Rebuilt 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission with 1800 stall converter. A perfect combination for the 3:73 gears.The frame and undercarriage are rock solid and extremely clean and beautifully detailed!The body was taken off the frame and the frame was meticulously blasted and painted in POR-15. Everything was either replaced or refurbished from the ground up. New bed, inner fenders, hood, hinges, etc... All rubber bushings and mounts were replaced. The undercarriage of the truck looks as good and clean as the top side. The undercarriage is nicely detailed and looks as good as new. We have some photos of the restoration, including down to the bare cab with the body off the frame that are included in the sale as well as many documents, instructions, schematics and paint codes that were neatly filed during the restoration. The truck started as a North Carolina truck with an outstanding body and frame and was meticulously turned into this gorgeous resto-mod.Runs, drives, stops, handles, and steers outstanding!
