Up for very low reserve auction is a 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, Condor Blue (color code 29), one owner for 44 years, 95% original paint, original excellent un dyed interior, highly optioned, original vinyl top, original spare, excellent engine and trunk compartments, excellent driving, believed to be 18k original miles, all options working, copy of original title, 1973 service records with mileage. Click here for 112 hi res pictures: Body: Body is in very good to excellent condition with all the paint ORIGINAL except for the bottom of the front fenders and a small portion of the rocker panel. The lids, doors and quarters are all ORIGINAL paint ( see PAINT METER pics). The original paint has some stone chips on the front hood and very few chips or scratches on the body (visible on pics). Top: The top is totally ORIGINAL (not dyed) and in very good to excellent condition with the exception of two small tears that were repaired at the bottom of the rear post (shown in pics). Engine: The engine runs perfectly, starts fast with cold idle start working, kicks down properly, trans shifts perfectly. No noises. No hesitation. Engine oil is clear and transmission oil is red. Minor "sweating" underneath. Options: Cruise, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, climate control, stereo AM-FM signal seeking radio, auto trunk release with auto pull down, split seats, 6-way driver's seat, automatic door locks, automatic level control replaced with manual level control rear shocks. Everything works including the clock. Trunk: Original spare tire (L78/15 is a one year only tire), original trunk rubber in very good to excellent condition with original dye mark visible. Original trunk felt in very good to excellent condition. Interior: Interior is all original. Driver's seat is in same excelletn condition as all other seats. Interior HAS NOT been dyed or sprayed. All windows work. History: The car was a one owner car for the past 44 years. The owner died in 1972 and his widow took the car out a few times per year to exercise and maintain it. The last service record I have is from 1973 which shows 14k miles. I cannot be certain that the miles are correct. The interior, paint and engine point to 18k miles as does the history and records. The stone chips in the hood and skirt stone guards raise doubts. Either the original owner drove it the first two years on gravel roads or put 118k miles on the car in two years. I cannot be certain. The owner's widow says the car wasn't used much but has not knowledge of the exact mileage. The original title is shown and I registered the car from the original title. Undercarriage: The under carriage was undercoated from the factory which is peeling off. There is some surface rust as evidenced in the pictures. No holes present anywhere.
