Up for sale is an excellent condition, fully capable 1984 4runner trail rig. These are hard to find in this good of condition. Here is a list of whats been done. Suspension Rear: 3 link with trussed axle, adjustable shocks, chromoly axle shafts, Detroit locker with 4.10 gears, differential armor Front: Solid axle swap with leaf springs, 4.10 gears, ARB air locker, new knuckles replaced less than 500 miles ago, adjustable shocks. Drivetrain GM 4.3L v6 conversion with TH350 Tranny (30,000 miles on drivetrain at time of swap, now has about 35000), Marlin Crawler gearbox for ultra low gearing, engine is carbureted and runs very well, plenty of power, I have an EFI system for it which is included, I haven't installed it because it runs great as is. Has dual fuel pumps as a just-in-case basis, fuel pressure regulator. ARB air compressor is mounted in the engine bay up front. Has external tranny cooler in front of radiator and dual speed electric fan. Interior Front seats are black racing seats in good shape, original rear seat is also in good shape, custom aluminum dash with Dolphin gauges, the original altimeter-pitch-roll system is installed in the middle of the dash. Floor has been coated and a grey rubber liner has been installed. the rear bedrail panels have been removed. sunroof/moonroof is still installed and in good shape. aftermarket GT steering wheel. Overall the inside is in very good shape Exterior Paint is in ok shape, could probably use a better one, but its a trail rig so its eventually gonna get beat up. there is NO rust anywhere except for a couple suspension components and its only surface rust. the rear has been bobbed 8" and the top has been modified so it looks and fits as it should. the rear bumper is low profile and has been custom fabbed, the front bumper is an XRC winch bumper off a wrangler that has been custom fitted and looks good(no winch included). All lights work as they should, no cracks in any of the glass. Rock rails have been fabbed up for added protection. This rig is purpose built and performs flawlessly, however, with this much lift and the 37" MTR's you would think it handles bad on the road... not true. It drives down the highway amazingly at 75 mph. I drive it all the time to work and back with no issues or worries. Starts right up every time as it should, has plenty of power in the motor and the tranny shifts well. A lot of blood sweat and tears (and money) have been put into building this 4runner. You wont find a more capable/roadworthy/clean first gen 4runner on the road. I have this listed locally for sale as well as for trade.
