Vehicle Detail

I bought this Honey literally from "A Nice, Little Old Lady" who's husband bought it new..so she said. She quit driving it after he died because it was "Too Big" and bought a Subaru or somethin. It sat for a good while, garaged, only being driven short distances. Her daughter ran it back and forth to college for a year but Peer Pressure got to her for driving a "Gas Guzzler" and destroying the environment. (318, 2 brl. Does pretty good mpg wise). She got Moms Subaru, Mom got a new one.It sat 2 years till I came along.....Put a new battery in it, point's and condenser, air and gas filter, fresh gas, and drove it home, and changed the oil. The brakes were Stiff..but loosened right up...Ran good, came up to temp fine, shifted nice and smooth, and rode like an Over Stuffed Sofa. It's got 4 "New" All Season Radials, (White Walls) Floats down the road.....Very Few, if Any Rattles.....Front End and Steering are Tight. I've had it 8 years or so. It's been registered, driven a few hundred miles, and been in a couple of shows and an attraction at several Cruise Nights. People walk right by the Camaros, Chevells, and Mustangs to see what this Car is....Many never heard of one. People always comment on the Original Condition and how Solid this car is. Tried starting it this summer....Starter kicks out usually on 3rd crank or so. Starter is out, but included. (Was going to replace). Pros: Smooth Running 318 motor with 49,767 original miles, No Smoke, No Consumption, No visible leaks. "Newer" 2 barrel carb, newer radiator, voltage regulator. Push Button Auto. Am radio. Tires @ 95%,(all holding air), original hubcaps, spare tire. Newer Rear Brake Cylinders, Shoes, and Turned Drums. Solid Frame and Body, No Rust Holes. Doors close Great with the solid clunk like they should when America built Cars. Original Glass (No cracks or breakage). windows go up and down easily, doors open and close and lock, but need lubrication, all hardware is there.Trunk lid clunks down tight and locks, floor is solid. Spare included. Dash is in Good Shape. Lights did all work, with Original Lens. The Lady said it had Never been driven in Snow....It's Obvious it hasn't, nor have I had it out past September any year. Cons: Needs a Starter, (Weak Bendix). Needs Brake line work. Ring Gear Cover is missing. Interior needs to be replaced. Seats are torn, Headliner is ripped. Carpet is torn. Rear Shelf has cracked from sunshine. Musty smell from sitting.Exterior paint is faded, and Minor Surface Rust in a couple spots. A couple of small dents, scratches, and chrome is slightly rusted. Small amount of "plastic" in both Front Fenders.....Mom said Daughter did it, Daughter says Mom did. Happened long time ago, and repair has held up well, although paint is cracking on drivers side repair. Frame is Solid but has Surface Rust, as does spots on under body. Needs a Radio Antenna. Needs complete restoration. If I had the time....I'd restore this Old Girl. New coat of Gloss Black paint, New Interior, Glass Pack Muffler, and a couple Furry Dice hangin on the Mirror and Me & Some Honey would be goin to the Drive In. Rare Dart Model, that's Solid and Runs....Good Starting Point for an Easy Restoration resulting in a Head Turning Classic American Automobile.
