Up for auction is this 1931 Ford Model A four door. The really sad thing about this car is they drove it out of a garage in 76 and parked it under the trees. Was a driver before that. Would make a good car to restore. The engine still spins freely, the transmission shifts through the gears and the rear end rolls. The car is really complete, other than the headlights and cowl lights got stolen by local guy here in town but can't prove it, he was caught snooping around these cars a couple of times and then the lights came up missing. The steering box is locked up so it won't steer, the front wheels are pointed straight though, and it rolls alright on flat tires, tires are bad. It has the trunk on the back which I think is probably rare. All the wood is bad, but the sheet metal is really nice and straight. The front fenders will need replaced and the only rust on the outside I could find is in the lower right cowl, shows in picture. The floor tins are rusty, need replaced. The back of the front seat tin is nice, shows in picture. Very nice hood and grille shell, running boards good, and the rear fenders can be straightened. The frame is good, no rust but you can see where they welded the front fender braces to the frame. I have a clear Nebraska title in my name. $300 deposit in pay pal at auction end, and the rest in cash when picked up or funds transferred. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements. Like I said before the car will roll straight on trailer or probably transport. I can help with loading. The car can sit here for a while if arrangements are made with me.
