Due to the recent illness of my husband, I am forced to sell our 1968 El Camino SS 396. We purchased the vehicle in August of this year, 3 weeks before discovering his illness. The El Camino is a TRUE SS with matching numbers. Here is what I know about the car: it has a 350 hp 396 motor, a new TH400 transmission with a 3000 stahl converter, a mild shift kit, and a 12 bolt rear end with 355 gears. New wheels and tires, and recently painted before we purchased it. The car didn't have the compressor on it when we got it so therefore it does not have A/C. The engine compartment and underbody are VERY clean (see pics), nice interior with a bench seat and steering column shifter, it has the original "working" roller tach, and a "retro style" radio. It does not have a CD player or a tape player. Everything on the inside works except the clock. This is a very beautiful car as you can see.
