For Sale 1956 Chevrolet 210 Del Ray sedan This was a very rust free Black plate California survivor to start with, colors are original paint code Crocus Yellow and Laurel Green. Referred to as “Mustard and Custard” Engine: Computer controlled Electronic Fuel Injected Vortec 350 from a 99 Suburban, hydraulic roller cam. Runs great and doesn’t smoke or burn oil, great oil pressure and does not get hot, said to have 60k miles when installed approx. 2kmiles ago. Trans: Rebuilt overdrive 700R4 with shift kit. Exhaust: Dual exhaust with Flowmaster 50 series mufflers Rear end: posi-traction not sure of ratio, believe 3:50 Brakes: Power system with dual Corvette master cyl. front disk brakes, rear rebuilt stock drum stops great. Lowered suspension includes dropped spindles up front w/dropped coils, lowering blocks in rear. Interior has been recovered in Del Ray and has high end Daytona weave carpet, some minor wear to front door panels from window crank rubbing. New dash insert, column levers and mirror. Headliner and visors original and in decent shape, no tears. Trunk is carpeted over a solid original floor pan. It has an in dash am/fm radio. Paint is in good shape, I can tell the car was disassembled in restoration and not masked trim etc., glass is in good shape and appears to be original other than the windshield, trim is good and the "One piece" bumpers have been re-chromed, it could use new tail light bezels these are lightly faded. Recent mods 6 month old radiator and shroud, Autometer gauges and Billet steering wheel 18 and 20 inch Rocket “Fuel” wheels painted to appear magnesium and new tires within 700 miles. The car is a great cruiser and fun to drive, the colors get allot of positive comments. Needs: there is no wiper motor, I planned on putting in a rain gear system, the heater levers need to be replaced, everything is there and the heater is hooked up etc but the levers are broken.
