You are bidding on a Lotus Esprit S2, very popular car with the James Bond fans at every show, all I get is " i never have seen one in real life", the car is in very good shape and runs great as seen in the you tube videos. The Esprit has only has 15950 miles, the gear box shifts as new, the clutch is at factory setting still has a long life ahead, and the engine is very strong, have changed all fluids last year. Prices have been climbing since the announcement of the new model Esprit expected and the James Bond hype the sub is getting at a million dollars, so it makes perfect sense to own a Lotus. According to the Lotus owners Website only 117 Lotus Esprits S2 1979 were made for USA. Binnacle has cracks on top but dash is fine easy repair, have the original spare rim and the Original Owners Books that all collectors look for when buying a collector car, also it has the original radio (works) and I just replaced both window switches with original NOS stock from Britain. The interior is factory original !!! except for carpet i had changed with new lotus grey has emblem on mats, the body and undercarriage is great. I have a set of correct front and back bumpers that will go with sale. The car is fun to drive and gets a lot of looks when on the road, only thing is they always say is that a Lamborghini.
