At auction is our 2006 Mini Cooper S. The car has an automatic transmission with sports mode and paddle shifters and is a blast to drive. We have owned it from new and it has been adult-driven and well taken care of all its life. We purchased the vehicle in Scottsdale, AZ and it has never been driven anywhere outside of AZ and CA and has never seen weather worse than a rain shower. We have always kept it garaged and as you can see from the pictures, the car is in excellent condition inside and out. The interior is flawless. The exterior still looks fantastic with only some minor rock chips in the front and very small scratches/door dings on the sides that you have to look pretty hard to see. In addition to being in great shape, the car has low mileage with only 37,000 miles on the odometer (37,028 exactly as of start of auction) . Carfax was run on October 22nd; a picture of the squeaky clean summary results is included. Full report can be provided upon request. All books including owner's manual (in original case) as well as the onboard tool kit (never used) and the original set of keys (two master keys with remote control, one spare key) will come with the car. The car is registered in CA through June 2015 and of course has a clean title. There is no warranty and it is sold as is. Our reserve is lower than the Buy It Now price. A $500 deposit is due within 2 days of close of auction (immediately via Paypal for Buy It Now) with payment in full within 7 days. Payment in full is due before pick-up. The car is located ~35 miles east of Sacramento, CA. We prefer local pick-up. If you cannot pick-up in person, you are responsible to arrange for pick-up and shipment by a company of your choice. For folks who would be flying in to pick-up the car, we may be able to meet you at the Sacramento airport (SMF). Note that the car was freshly washed but was not specially detailed for the pictures, with engine compartment steam-cleaned etc. to make it look better than what you would drive on a daily basis. So what you see is definitely what you will get. We replaced the original run-flat tires with Bridgestone Potenza tires to get the ride that we wanted for our current mix of urban, local roads and freeway traffic. This was done when the car had a bit over 24,000 miles so the tires still have a lot of life in them. Note that these are not run-flat tires and the Cooper "S" doesn't carry a spare wheel... The car has a flat tire monitor as standard equipment and we simply keep a can of "Puncture Seal" tire inflator and sealant in the trunk just in case. The car was built-to-order and spec'd out very carefully at the time of purchase; it includes a very complete set of options. The color scheme in particular has been a real success. The white stripes in front and rear really sharpen the already beautiful Hyper Blue Metallic paint. The blue and black interior with leather upholstery fits the exterior scheme perfectly. LOJACK is a stolen vehicle recovery system and many insurance companies also offer a discount for vehicles that are equipped with it.
