Up for Auction, I have a very nice 1983 Toyota 4x4 Truck. I purchased this truck from the 2nd owner who owned it for many years. My intentions were to add a few things and enjoy it. However, sometimes life gets in the way and so, I have decided to let it go. Anyway about the truck, this is a 1983 Toyota 4x4. The last year made in this body style and in my opinion one of the best looking designs. The truck has high miles but, according to the previous owner the engine was rebuilt by a shop about 70,000 miles back and at some point the transmission and transfer case were also worked on. It runs great and the 4 wheel drive works good.The truck was sanded down to the metal using 320 grit sandpaper this would eliminate deep scratches that may show up in the paint. Then it was etched primed and sprayed with Kubota Tractor Factory Paint. This paint is very durable and should last for many years. Also, new 33x12.50 tires were installed that look very nice on the truck since,it is lifted. Many new parts were installed including: water pump, alternator,belts,shocks,hoses,u joints,seals,spark plugs,lights,plus much more. The truck comes with a Weber carburetor that works real good however, if it sits for more than 2 weeks or more it must be primed. I was told that a electric fuel pump should solve the problem but, I have not had the time to try that. One more thing, I live in a county that doesn't require smog so, most of the smog equipment was removed except, for the catalatic converter.
