You are bidding on a 2001 Saturn S- Series Coupe: My wife and I purchased this vehicle from a local dealership and had driven it for years with very few problems. It was given to another member of my family to drive about 2 years ago. Since that point in time very little maintenance has been done on the vehicle. I would guess that the new owner will probably spend 1,000 dollars or more on getting the front end in shape and checking the exhaust. It has air conditioning but there is a leak in the system. I would recommend 2 new tires In last years ice storm a branch fell and dented the trunk (see photo). The car looks good and I believe with some work it would be a excellent 2nd car or a 1st car for someone. This car has always used oil since day 1 and the buyer will have to check oil levels between changes. I have put a low reserve on this car because of the needed repairs. In closing, with the needed repairs done I would be comfortable with one of my kids driving this car. Checked the coolant levels and they are fine, could be a bad sensor. Also the check engine light came on then after a a short period it went out. I will check the code and post what it says.
