Vehicle Detail
Vintage auto restoration shop offers this 1957 Chevy ½ ton 3200 series step-side bed pickup truck. This truck was a barn find in the high desert of Eastern Washington. The truck had been sitting for 13 years until I recently purchased it. We have the truck running/driving well enough to be loaded on a trailer or semi, not ready for road use. This truck is in excellent restorable condition, very minor rust issues. There are so many ways a guy can go on this restoration. Stock, chopped, pro touring, pro street, air ride. This is a perfect blank canvas for you to go wild on. As a licensed auto appraiser, I come across nuggets like this in my travels. I make it my personal mission to save vintage cars from neglect, I’m so happy to bring them back to life, in this case, offer it to someone that will give it the love it deserves. Suffix code “DMD”. No smoke on start-up, sounds good all around. We put on a Holley 2 barrel and good used battery. There is no exhaust, just open headers. The transmission is a GM TH-350 3 speed automatic, seems to be working fine. We got the brakes working, rear end seems good. We got this truck running/driving well enough to be loaded on a trailer or semi. Not ready for road travel. My test drive was around my property and up the private street and back. BODY The original body on this truck is in excellent condition. Very little rust, check out all the pictures to see condition for yourself. Unfortunately, someone cut off the roof to make this a convertible sometime in the early 90’s when I guess that was a trend. We tack welded it back in place for shipment. The 3 baby moons and rings as seen are included. These trucks are hard to find un-restored not rusted to the ground. Rural farm towns in my area, off the grid, are about it for cool vehicles like this. I have a clean clear WA state title from 2002 in hand. Title and VIN tag match. This truck is a worthy project, NADA low is 7k, high 40k. I require a $1000 non-refundable deposit via PayPal directly after auction conclusion. (No exceptions) I'm very frustrated with non-paying bidders, no more, I will go to extreme lengths to collect so if you are not going to complete the transaction DO NOT BID. The rest within 5 days payable to my US Bank business account. I only take the deposit through PayPal. I have a shipping broker whom has shipped vehicles all over the lower 48 for me, I will put you in contact with him or work with your shipper. Title or vehicle do not leave my possession until payment cleared in full. 3100 stepside short bed swb lwb tri five 1955 1956 55 56 57 c10 c20 c 10 c 20 3600 bagged fleetside fleet side
