Vintage 1973 Datsun 240Z. I am selling this car for my son who is the 3rd owner of this car. Car was purchased new in 1973 and then sold in 2002 and that 2nd owner had the car for 10 years. The second owner did install seat shields as there was some rust in the frame. My son and I have owned this car for the last 2 years. While we have owned it we have installed a new voltage regulator, new alternator, new tires, and fuel pump. The charging system has a very slight draw on the battery and it was determined it was the clock. For this reason, we also installed a battery kill switch. I am not sure of the mileage on the car as it had 39,000 when we bought it. It could have spun once making the mileage 139,000. The first owner was 83 years old when she sold the car to the second owner. The second owner was a younger person who used the car as a second car. The car runs and could be an everyday driver. My son and I have only driven the car during spring, summer, and fall. My son was going to do a ground up restoration on this car but since has invested in a newer Nissan 350Z Roadster and a motorcycle. Since graduating college this year, he is now paying student loans as well as his other car and motorcycle loan so that is why he is parting with this fun piece of history. Sale of the car is as is and no warranty. Also included in the sale is a used car cover.
