--1958 Mercedes Benz 190 SL; complete car, requires restoration, extra floor pans included.-- This 190 SL has been stored indoors for the last 30 years. I bought the car in Florida in 1974, drove it to Cleveland, and sold it to my brother. He had the engine rebuilt and Weber carburetors installed, and drove it for several years. When the floor pans showed deterioration, he stored the car and prepared for a restoration he never got around to before his passing. The car is partially disassembled, but it looks like everything is there. Even the clock ticks. Included are most of the new floor pans, as shown in the photos. Soft top is there, but there was never a hard top. This car will require a full restoration. With the recent jump in price of the 300 SLs, though, the 190 SLs are catching up in value and are much more practical and fun to drive. There is no 'buy it now' price and the reserve is reasonable. The car is SOLD AS IS, WHERE IT IS, and I will help your shipper load the car and parts. Buyer is responsible for arranging pickup and shipping at buyer's own cost. A $1000 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end, and all funds must clear before pickup. Balance may be paid via cashier's check, money order, or cash (in person.)
