(This is being relisted due to a non-paying bidder. If you're not in the U.S. with a fair amount of eBay feedback, please do not bid.) I bought this car on 1/9/13 after Hurricane Sandy from a dealership in NY. According to them, it was just a car on their lot at the time of the hurricane. So it hasn't been driven in water, although it was submerged. I had it shipped to a very qualified Mercedes tech here in Austin. He could not get electricity throughout the car in order to run a diagnostic test, so the extent of any damage is unknown. The car does not run at this time but should once worked on. The tech said that the engine, transmission, etc. (worth $20k) are still sealed without any water contamination and that at least one of the ecu's must not be operable. The car only has 24,000 original miles. The interior would also need to be refinished. I paid $33k for it. Sold As-Is, No Warranty. Buyer responsible for Transport / Pickup / Shipping.
