Selling the 1949 1Ton Dodge truck. Listed with another truck, but I had many requests for one or the other. This truck was owned by a man in Tennessee who drove it in parades until he passed away. I don't know much history on this vehicle. I bought the truck for the motor and other parts only. It has the correct T code engine, 4 speed trans and I was going to pull it for a 48 Half ton I was rebuilding. The truck hasn't been driven for more than 8 months. The starter works when it wants to, but I have another good starter to go with it. Gas does smell bad, so it will be needing flushed. Has Alternator on engine so I believe it was set up for 12Volt. Body is what I consider decent for its age. Does have some rust showing bottom of doors and places on cab. I don't have time for these projects, since I am in the process of rebuilding a T bird Convert I have had sitting for much too long. Also! Please don't e-mail me asking to buy the stainless bars off the front! I know they are difficult to find, but they need to go with the truck. Thanks!
