Overall, this classic is a solid car that is an ideal canidate for a restoration project. Restore to original or customize to your own standards.. this is a great investment.. at the end of the day you are going to have one saught after and collectible classic. At the local car shows and cruise-ins, you simply do not see these wagons around anymore.. especially a two door. In 1957 between the 150,210 and Bel-Air models... there were 1,555,316 produced.. and 15,087 of the Chevrolets produced in 1957 were 2-door handyman wagons.. Compare the numbers and you will see that this is a super rare car.. that has lots of potential. We took this classic in on trade and truth be told.. we do not know much about it.. I have tried to take as many pictures as possible and complete the description to the best of my ability.. I encourage all buyers to review all pics and If anyone has any questions or would like more pics.. please do not hesitate to ask. I understand that the body on this classic carries its rough spots.. but overall it is in pretty good shape.. The floors and frame appear to be original and are solid. The only spots of rust that are visable on the floors are a couple of light spots on the drivers side front (near gas pedal) see pics. All of the glass is there.. the drivers side front window is cracked.. There really isnt much of the interior left.. The car was traded in with a couple of seats that werent bolted down.. It appears to have the original back seat... The rear hatch and window operates properly and the area where the spare tire is solid only showing surface rust.. The engine is a 350 c.i. V8.. Starts up.. sounds good.. no knocks, ticks or smoke.. The transmission appears to be a newer turbo 350 Shifts through the gears with no issues.. This chevy is equipped with manual brakes and steering.. The tires and crager wheels hold air.. but definetly show their age. This classic has a ton of potential.. you can visualize this car complete and cruising down the road.. This is the right one to restore..
