Beautiful red 1967 Volkswagen Beetle 72,026 miles, shiney red paint and sparkeling chrome. Manual transmission. Just driving this takes you back to the carefree days of your youth. :) Interior in excellent condition. Previous owner restored this and it has been garage kept. I was told that the motor and trans are original and I have not seen any leaks. The windows and seals are all in great condition. The car has been undercoated and I will try to get a pic of that in the next few days if there is rust it will probably be minimal but I can say that the floor pans are solid when you step on them. There are 2 small spots over top the doors that look like that they were not sanded well before they were painted aside from that it is just about perfect. It is after all 1967 Volkswagen so it will not be perfect but anyone that has owned a "Bug" know that they go forever :), it is a great car for the year and milage and will have many more years of driving fun. As I said it is a 1967 so if you are looking for perfect well just say it is not a new car but a great car. If I did not already have 2 vehicles I would keep it for myself. I purchased this for my mother in the hope that I would be able to get her to leave the house and just get out and ride since she had one many many years ago and just loved it. She is disabled and I desperately search for anything that will give her some pleasure but it just did not work out.On Oct-07-14 at 09:59:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked many times about rust under the car. All i can say is it is a 1967 car it is 47 years old and I am sure that it is not perfect and if it did not have some rust I would be suspicious about what had been done to it.. I have had it about 3 weeks. The previous owner said she had it undercoated and I can not lay on the ground to see. I have added pictures that I tried to take to show the underside. Please if there is any hesitation or you are expecting a new car DO NOT BID. I am a honest seller and no I do not sell cars, this is the first time so I am doing my best to describe what I see. With that being said I did notice a slight chip at the top of the trunk lid that i did not see before and a slight dent in the chrome on the passenger door strip. Car is sold as is with no warrenty
