THIS CAR IS A STEAL AT THE RESERVE I HAVE LISTED!!!! I am selling my 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. This car is solid but it is by no means a show car. That being said, I drive this car a few times a week and take it from CT to MA without any problems. It's an awesome drive! Here is the good followed by the challenges the car has. Good- Brand New Clutch- has less than 800 miles on it. replaced in the beginning of the summer 2014 The interior is very good. New custom mats, new seat covers, new custom performance wood steering wheel, wood shift knob, new Sony radio with Bluetooth. The convertible top was replaced just before I purchased the car. I can't say enough how nice the interior is for a car of this age. The radiator is new. Tires are newer and have at least 80% tread life left. Some of the challenges- When the clutch was replaced the bearing was not. It's a $60 part but the labor can be more costly. I have reflected this in the price of the car. IT DRIVES GREAT but there is the standard noise that comes with a bearing that needs adjusting. Again, does not effect the drive and you can hardly hear it while driving. The speedometer pod does not work, never has. It can be shipped out to be replaced but I never thought it was necessary. The body has some bubbling that was there when I purchased the car. It has not spread and I tried to to the best I could to show it in the pictures. The top has a very small hole about the size of a small pea. I had it treated and it has not spread. The car looks GREAT from 10 feet away but has its share of imperfections. No rust, just dings that come from 27 years on the road. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
