This is a NO RESERVE Auction, bid to own it! I have owned this truck for over 20 years in my collection with the intent of restoring it. I finally got to it this spring and found that the original 216 engine was junk. I put in a 235 6 cyl and rebuilt the carb. I redid the brakes by rebuilding the master cylinder and rear brake cylinders, and rear brake hoses. I did a complete tune up, points plugs coil condesor etc. I put a new fuel pump on and clean out the gas tank. I put a new exhaust system on. It has the original complete cloth wire harness still there. I wired direct with a 12 volt coil and battery and have been running it that way all summer. I have just used this truck in our local homecoming parade.

I have been running it all summer on many short trips (mostly 25 miles from my farm to my work) and it starts right up everytime. As the video shows, it drives 50 to 60 miles per a hour with no play and shifts smooth. The truck stops and goes into reverse and backs up fine. The clutch works the way it should. All of the glass is good (I replaced what glass was originally cracked with new.)I would redo the front brakes for longer trips and re-upholster the seat as it has a seat cover on it right now that looks good. The windows go up and down with ease and the doors and hood shut the way they should.

Cosmetically this truck shows really GREAT. I had it repainted and I will give the paint code to the new buyer. I pictured and videoed any cosmetic blemish I saw. Be sure to look at the video and pictures. In my opinion, the paint looks very sharp and turns lots of heads. I have used it in a few parades this summer with lots of thumbs up!

This is a RARE find in that it is a 5 window, shortbox 1/2 ton, and that it can be used as a daily driver while taking it to the next level if the buyer wishes. The truck idles beautifuly and the 235 6 cyl enigne has no knocks, misses or smoke.The license plate and toppers do not go with the sale of the truck. This truck comes with a clean and clear title ,with the numbers matching ready to register.
