It was originally owned by PECO Energy out of Pennsylvania.It was originally titled and put into service in 1992. It was a truck like you see in the movies, that backs up to a man hole with a canopy and contained all the equipment to perform work down under the roadway. The right side of the van is pretty much unchanged and the left side contained a floor to ceiling metal rack with a 4 cylinder engine, spool of hydraulic hose, generator and hydraulic fluid tank. So when this truck was at work, the vehicles engine might have been running but the vehicle was parked which I assume explains the low vehicle mileage. The second owner was also from Pennsylvania, a general contractor who used the truck as a tool dog. When I took possession of the vehicle, it had 35,511 original miles on the speedometer. The Pennsylvania title also confirmed the low mileage. I removed the metal rack with all the equipment on the left side of the van and built storage bunks to haul my material. I used the truck in my custom closet business in the Lake of the Ozarks area and put on less than 15,000 miles. I have always said I couldn't have ordered a new one off the showroom floor any better suited for my business. The truck has performed flawlessly for the past 11 years. I have replaced the exhaust system, new brakes on front end and performed the usual required maintenance, new batteries, oil and filter on a regular basis. This step van provides a lot of space to advertise your business and looks great with your company logo and lettering. I have taken the time to remove my logo and lettering from the vehicle, as well as the adhesive left behind.
