After the interest in my Dodge on the just completed listing for this truck I will try to answer some of the questions and try this one more time. The truck is very road worthy, and the engine provides strong power and torque. The braking system is very reliable...I have not removed the wheels but it stops on a dime and has no a unwanted pull to either side. The truck is based on the 197" wheelbase model and is approx. 25' in total length. The rear bed is bolted on, has its own frame structure, and can be removed with ease, and would provide a lot of metal. Former Wentworth, SD volunteer fire truck that was well maintained and only has 46K on the good running 318 engine. Was going to duplicate the original snake/Mongoose ramp style vintage car haulers of the day to carry around my vintage Mopars to attend local events. I purchased about 6 months prior to the movie release and have now decided to sell with too many projects backing up on me. I drove the truck to my IA shop location from NE which was about 250 miles. Did that trip in summer heat and she ran like a top. Tracks down the road real straight and ran cool the entire way. If a longer distance retro truck hauling machine is your intention this would make a great truck to drop modern turbo diesel power plant into.
