Vehicle Detail

Please don't bid if you're not going to follow through. I listed this car once, the winning bidder emailed me to let me know he was sending the check, then I never heard from him again. UGH! Good solid little car that I don't have time for. Updated with a newer drive train; 302, automatic and 8" rear end. Carb needs to be gone through, it doesn't idle well, but it does run good and has good power. The front end is still stock and in good condition except for the steering gear box. It's sloppy, but I was going to put power steering on it anyway. The brakes are all good with a good, solid pedal. Glass is tinted and a few are cracked. The windshields and back window are fine. It has electric wipers. The door handles have been shaved. You have to reach through the wing window to open the door, no poppers are on the car. The chrome on the car is in pretty decent condition. The front seat had been reupholstered at some time in the past, and is still in good condition although there is a tear on the back side of the back rest. It's out of a newer car, I don't know what. I picked up the back seat just recently. It's out of a 2-door sedan, but it doesn't fit right. Keep that in mind 'cause there may be a difference in a coupe and a sedan making it not usable in this car. The headliner's been replaced also, and is in good condition. It looks like there has been some rust repair on the body, but it doesn't look like it was terribly extensive. There is some rust bubbles coming through on the front lower part of the passenger door. The floors are good in the cab and the trunk. The tires look really cool on this thing, but they're old. I don't believe I'd like to be at freeway speeds with them. The hood does close tightly. Questions? Don't be afraid to ask, I'll answer the best I can. On Sep-28-14 at 12:58:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I hate those "upon further inspection" things. I got under the car and really searched. There is a few areas that will need patching- nothing major. One crack about 7 inches long aft of the left "A" pillar body mount is through. An area as big as a soft ball on both of the inner rocker panels is through. Another small cluster of rust holes that would be smaller than a silver dollar if combined on the right side just aft of the "A" pillar body mount. I tried to capture all the damage in the pictures that I added, so please look closely.
