Vehicle Detail
This is a REAL S.S. car that has had thousands invested. It was "sponsored" by an engine builder and stereo installer for car shows, etc. Very few miles on a car that was COMPLETELY restored, top to bottom. It is NOT in show condition in my opinion, though everyone loves it, only because the paint does'nt seem to have been prepped correctly. It is VERY shiny still, but numerous chips and scratches show when you get close. Also, some of the trim was dinged up when he reinstalled it. Finally it was hit from behind at a car show enough to crack the paint in the photo you see. The bumper was replaced. Speedometer quit working soon after the restoration. There's the bad, let's get to the good! The engine is a rebuilt 454, with a rebuilt Turbo 400, and believe it or not, even Nitrous Oxide! Runs, drives and SOUNDS excellent. Mustang II front end with rack and pinion. Also has new rear end. I just rotated the tires, and when I checked the brakes, they still all look like new, calipers, etc. The underside also looks like new, not a spot of rust. The engine compartment has the custom fender wells. We took the hood off for a cruise a few months ago to show off the engine, and I can't get it back to where the hood lays down level in the back. Should've marked it, and I'm too old to let it frustrate me any further. The interior is beautiful in every way. Headliner, carpet, seats, everything. Chrome tilt column. B&M ratchet shifter. It needs nothing. ALL lights work, even the back-up lights. Inside the glove box is a pro installed Sony play station, I have'nt played it, nor would I know how. My grandkids say it needs controllers. Speaking of the grandkids, they LOVE the crazy stereo. I have the receipt for it, (and the alarm), and the total is $8,714.44 Pioneer AM/FM CD player with remote. Manufacturer of the amplifiers is Massive, yes that's the brand name. The custom trunk enclosure has 2 1,500 watt amps, a smaller 500 watt amp, and a capacitor. Has 2 competition series DMX subwoofers in trunk, 2 6x9 competition speakers in rear deck, and a custom enclosure on the kick panels, (that did'nt include cutting into them), that has 5.25" speakers and 3.5" speakers. The alarm is a Python 650 with remote.
