1966 true GTO vin # 242176K138261, built the 3rd week of june, 2 door hardtop, built in kansas city mo, exterior is blue charcoal, interior parchment, this is an original 4 speed car it is now a rolling chassis with the original 3:55 posi. One repaint original interior this car has not been cut up or molested. The car is pretty much %100 complete minus motor and tranny and everything related, crossmember is there, all the trim and brightwork is there and in good shape including the piece on the grill thats missing in the photo its in the car, the bumpers have some surface rust and look like they have been tweaked a bit, the seats are in good shape (frames and springs) seat covers are not torn but they are dirty and moldy. The body is straight, both lower legs of the front fenders are just starting to bubble, the passenger rocker needs some patching i dont think it needs replaced, drivers looks good, both rear quarters need patches possibly replaced wont know till you get into it, the outer wheel houses are good except where debri sits behind the rear wheels they can be patched, the trunk drops need replaced, probably the whole trunk pan needs replaced and the tail panel is rusted where the weatherstriping sits, doors look pretty solid, the hood and trunk and roof are in good shape, the filler panel at the base of the rear glass is rusted where water sits. the floors are in good shape except for the front pans will need some small patches. This is a manual brake and steering car and it has a ralley gauge cluster with tach water temp and oil pressure gauges and it has the original 4 speed console. The glass is in good shape, the windshield is cracked. The doors open and shut solid, there is no hood hinges. Doesnt appear to be any accident damage. This is a super cool iconic solid straight car. The parts in the trunk are small block chevy and will be cleaned out i will leave the driveshafts just in case one is the right one for the car. Clean clear kansas title. I try to describe cars to the best of my ability, i do body paint and restorations on the side so i know what i'm looking at, just don't have enough time to do every car i come across, i do not like surprises when i buy cars online and i will not do bad business just look at my feedback.
