Vehicle Detail
1969 MG Midget, 1275 cc, 4 speed, front disk brakes, spoked wheels with knock off's and "safety" nuts. I have owned this car for 9 years and am an auto enthusiast and British car club member. I have made some modifications to the car to make it safer, more reliable, and perform a little bit better. 3/4" front sway bar, alternator conversion, free flow air filters, rebuilt carbs, alloy valve cover, blade type fuse box, mahogany steering wheel, Monza muffler (sounds great), rear tube shock conversion, front lever shocks rebuilt, added roll bar with center high mount LED stop light, euro spec amber rear directionals, and heavy gage steel drop pedal box floor section ( I'm 6'4" and this gives more comfort, and is great for all size drivers), new gas tank and sender. Full service and part records, and all stock parts that were upgraded were kept and come with the car, like the old generator. I'm selling this to create space and funding for a classic Mini. Watch the video to get a much better view of the car and it's condition. Thanks for viewing. I only posted 4 pictures because I made a short video of the car and this video is posted on YouTube. Ebay does not allow a link in this ad to get you to the video. If you search for "MG Midget 1969 garrett" you should find it (the preview picture is of the engine). If you can't find it, e-mail me and i'll send you the link. Pictures of cars online always look good, a video shows so much more detail. As an example you can see the imperfections in the paint in the video and you can't see them in pictures. Thanks for your consideration,Garrett Update 20th Sept: Some people have asked about pictures of the underside. I do not have easy access to a lift, but this afternoon I will put the car on ramps an take some pictures. E-mail me and I will send you the pictures as soon as I have them. Again this car is super clean underneath, and for a 45 year old British car, it is in excellent condition.
