I have decided to auction my 1997 Suzuki Bandit GSF600ST @ NO RESERVE AND $99 starting bid as crazy as that might sound. No mechanical issues, very strong and reliable runner, recent 300 mile trip where it ran flawlessly at turnpike speeds. Remembering what I like best about this bike on that trip makes it difficult to sell but storage space is at a minimum and I am trying to downsize. I hate to see it go. The bandit is a sport touring riding style, very comfortable for trips with moderate fairing and windshield, but also very easy to get around town or cities. Its a perfect blend bike for beginners and experienced riders as well. Very cheap to insure as its a 600, yet offers above average performance on a budget and handles well for what it is. All maintenance is up to date, regular oil changes with suzuki cycle oil 10W-40 with quality wix oil filters. I sent an oil sample to blackstone labs, results indicated engine was above average health for age/mileage. Brakes we recently overhauled withing last 2k miles, new pads, rebuilt calipers, rebuilt master cylinders and stainless braided brake hoses for an improved brake feel. New Michelin Pilot Sport tyres are awesome, valve stems were replaced, no air leaks. Upgraded Halogen Turn Signals replaced the gawdy factory signals. Corbin Seat is extremely comfortable for long rides and offers seating for 2. An option corbin back rest could be fitted, the hardware is already there. New NGK spark plugs and carburator was rebuilt with new needles and thorough ionicially cleaned to restore performance and driveability. This bandit appears to have been jetted and in combination with D&D header and exhaust pulls very strong. No rust inside gas tank, fuel preservative used during storage, rebuilt petcock and fuel lines. New gel handgrips. Recent battery replacement. Front Fork seals would be on my list to replace in the future. Cosmetically the bike present well given age and mileage. 3 of the 4 pieces of bodywork are perfect with original and very glossy factory paint, one had damage and I sanded it down in preparation for paint but never got around to having it done. The gas tank has a ding on left side as shown in pics, paint is good with slight fuel crazing although very hard to notice from 3 feet, the gas cap has been replaced with an aftermarket one with key delete for easier fill ups. Frame paint is original and is faded in several places but not horrible to leave as is since its original. Windshield is clear and unscratched. Upgraded headlight and carbon fiber front fender as well as carbon fiber tank protector. PLEASE NOTE: The pictured napoleon bar end mirrors (expensive) I am keeping. I will be including 1 emgo right side mirror to replace so you have something to drive with. Also included in sale is a genuine suzuki factory repair manual, as well as the maintenance receipts and records I have kept. I also have a spare set of body work and some misc parts I am happy to throw in with the sale. The bike can be shown in Manayunk/Roxborough area, message me through ebay to arrange a time.
