up for auction is my 1969 ford mustang mach 1. it is a very nice project car. it is a straight very solid complete running driving car. this is the kind of project that you could actually drive as you work on it. i hope it goes to an individual who actually has a genuine interest in owning and working on it. most of these are now bought and flipped by money hungry dealers. i have owned it since may 1981. and have never put it back on the road and just feel it is time to sell it to someone who will enjoy it and finish it. i have my marti report to prove this car is a true candyapple red mach 1. the car is from florida and most of the sheet metal is original and rot free. most of the car still has its original paint and decals. the original 351 windsor has been rebuilt about 7 years ago by my father it has very few miles but i start the car and move it every few weeks to keep it limber.he also did the floors and serviced the rearend at that time but it has developed a slow leak around the pinion seal. the marti report shows this mach was a three speed but when i bought it it already had a 1970 ? hurst 4 speed installed.i do not have the 3 speed transmission. other than that it has all the original parts. being from florida this car has factory a/c. it also has the black interior deluxe mach one clarion knit highback bucket sport seats deluxe woodgrain console with cig lighter and the seatbelt holders woodgrain interior.the interior should clean up nicley the head liner seams are starting to seperate in a couple spots. car has sport mirrors remote on driver side. my mach one is well optioned and has lots of cool features.. besides the motor and rear being redone it has complete new brakes all around shoes wheel cylinders hoses lines master cylinder emergency brake cables everything new fuel pump and sending unit gas tank and filler tube all 1970 for larger fuel capacity. all brand new exhaust new headers and flowmaster stainless american thunder 2 1/2 exhaust system that sounds old school awesome very nice rumble. also including the original exhaust manifolds. new shocks all around all new front suspension and rear has new shackles and bushings.i have tons of recipts. the four tires match and are in good condition mounted on the styled steel wheels. gt center caps are incorrect i am also including the original mach caps but they arent in very good condition. the compact spare dosent look any good. look at the pics this is a very nice solid car that has keys and clean paper work starts runs drives and stops great. if you are serious you can come look it over and yard drive it if you are very serious.look at the pictures this car is very solid even the original quarters and drop offs are super nice as well as the original rockers the ford stamped numbers in the rockers are still easy to read very clean rockers.and the drivers door and tail panle have been replaced by reproductions. the passangers front fender has been repainted by someone at some point. it has filler but looks like you could definetley save it. drivers quarter needs some work but is solid. the hood has some rot on the underside supports you could probably save it but probably be best to just get a different hood. love the scoop with the built in turn signals. the trunk lid is actually nice and solid on the underside. the passenger door is nice even underneth. you get all the extra mustang parts i bought for the mach in the pictures also. all glass is good all trim except bumpers is good have new driverside grill moulding in box. good wiring. most everything works not sure about the radio because the rear window has two holes but no speakers. should be a very straight forward resto. please look at all the pictures and if you have any questions i will be happy to answer them. almost forgot the power steering has a fluid leak. please check my feedback and bid with confidense. scammers save your time im not new at this the car will not leave my property until i have a secure payment in full. i gave a good honest desription and you are welcomed to come look it over. car is sold as is with no warranty of any kind.thanks for looking!
