1962 Chevrolet Impala SS. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, everything is new and it runs and drives probably better than it did new. I bought this car for a solid foundation to make a Pro Touring car to travel around the Power Tour next year and have been talked out of doing so by my fellow car club members due to it's rarity. I have since bought a 6 cylinder Dodge Charger I am going to build, this one must go to fund the project. It was originally a 327 but now has a 330 HP 350 crate motor with about 2000 miles on it and the original Power Glide. It was repainted three or four years ago the original color (Anniversary Gold) of which only 500 examples were made to commemorate Chevrolets 50TH anniversary. The interior is quite nice and I am pretty sure original, although the carpet is new. The paint in the door jams and under the truck is still original and matches, it even still has the jack instructions under the trunk lid. There is a chip or two here and there but over all a nice, clean driver. Only thing that doesn't work is the heater, it has been blocked off since I have had the car. I would never drive it in the winter so I never tried to hook it up, I assume it needs a heater core to work. I set the reserve very low and it will most likely be hit by day two of the auction, the car will sell this week. I have it for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Do not ask me what the reserve is. I will not sell to anyone out of the 50 states or buyers with no feedback, no need to ask.
