We have decided to sell our spare car as we never really use it. It's a 1997 Lexus LX450 (exactly the same as the world renowned Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80 or FJ80 but with a few nicer Lexus features). We bought this truck from the first owner, a family friend, and it has been a fantastic truck for us. It has a very low for year 149k miles. These trucks can easily go to half a million miles if properly cared for, so this one is barely broken in. Always serviced on time, every time, with even regular oil changes being done at Toyota. The first three years of its life it was serviced at Lexus. The truck has no issues, even the original CD multichanger works as it should. There are no leaks of any kind and it drives and runs like it's brand new. I'm not kidding. Yes, there are cheaper Land Cruisers out there, but they're generally beat up and have a bunch of issues. This one has none at all. I can't tell you how many compliments I get when we drive this around the neighborhood. Even under the hood it looks like it did in 1997. Asking a very reasonable $8300. It's getting harder and harder to find decent LX450s and FZJ80s, and when you do, they're priced accordingly. We'd be interested in a partial trade as our eldest is about to get his license, and although the Lexus is fantastic and safe, it's just a wee bit too big for him to steer around. Please be realistic with your pricing though. We're not in a rush to sell, and would just love the big truck go to somebody who will use it and enjoy it as much as we have.
