1998 SLK230 Runs great, Top stopped working the other day. Can still be put up and down manually. The pump was replaced last year so it is new and functional. There is a bad line i believe because i can see leaking oil from passenger side of trunk but not near the pump. Check engine light just came on after i filled gas?? I replaced the MAF sensor. 183k miles with maintenance records from a Benz dealer up through 170k. "R" title due to previous owner hitting a deer and cost of front end repairs with labor exceeding cost of what insurance wanted to pay. Car was "rebuilt" and is sound. Passed MD inspection in June of this year so safety of the car is not a question. Passed MD emissions about two weeks ago. I trust to drive this car anywhere. I am buying a home and have 6 cars and some have to go. Sadly this is one of them. Headliner is included with the car but not installed. Passenger seat stitching coming undone on seat bottom. No holes in seats. I have additional photos on request of anything you would like to see. Car is for sale as is where is with no warranty. Winning bidder must pick up in Smithsburg, MD.
