One sweet little Z Car. We traded for this 1977 280z the other day on a 350z that we had. The owner was a true Z Car fanatic and drove this car quite frequently and had owned the car for the last 10 years. It has been well service and maintained. The body is very straight and does not show any signs of any previous work of any kind. The paint looks all original and I even doubled check the body panels with a Mil Gauge (paint meter) and there were no panels over 5.0 mils, which verifies what I can see with my eyes. There is some oxidation on the top of the fenders and rear deck lid, that could possibly be buffed and made to look a little better, but the roof, hood, and side panels are in excellent condition. There are no major scratches in the paint, only a minor scratch under the key cylinder on the drivers door. The car also has a tear in the drivers seat cover and is missing the factory carpet ( the previous owner took it out to replace and never got around to replacing it). The car does not show any signs of rust and has been a southern car, the previous owner told us he purchased the car in Texas. This car has been well maintained and has some like new Michelin Tires. I have copies of all of the major service records from the previous owner which include: 10/26/2009 - new brake calipers, rotors, and pads for front, new rear brake shoes - new radiator and coolant hoses - Rebuild the engine with all new bearings, rings, oil pump, gaskets, timing chain - $3589 service 11/18/2009 - new water pump, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap - $387 service 12/18/2009 - Heater Core replaced, new heater core hoses, new idle air valve, and vacuum control valve $1203 service 5/1/2012 - New Fuel Pump, fuel filter, fuel filter hose, 6 new fuel injectors, the ticket also said some hoses were replaced. -$728 service As you can tell the previous owner did not hesitate to spend the money to keep this car fully functional.
