1964 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Stingray This car is is very good running condition and above average appearance overall. Red exterior with black vinyl interior. Everything is original except the engine. The engine was replace in 2000 with a brand new GM 350 crated engine. The car has a 4 speed manual transmission, manual brakes, manual steering, Old Auto Air a/c system (new technology) w/ electric auxiliary fan that blows cold. All gauges, switches, horn, lights function except the gas gauge. There is an aftermarket one installed beneath the dash. The interior is sound with no tears, dash pads are in good shape, the overall black color is good, headliner is in good shape. The car was repainted some years ago but is in good condition which you can see from the pictures. The paint has the normal nicks and cracks associated with Corvettes this age. The body overall is good and solid. The odometer shows 12,100 which is probably on the second turn. The car has a brand new set of white wall tire and the original hubcap with spinners are in very good shape. The car has a brand new carrier rear end bushing, new half shafts with new u-joints, new thermostat and housing, new battery. The car runs cool at 160 degrees in high 90 degree temps with a/c on or off. No vibrations, smoke or noise. It can be a daily driver as it is not very rough on gas.
