I purchased the car in Texas (flew) to get a car not rusted out with low miles 8 years ago. Few have survived in the Midwest. I have diligently gone through the entire car and replaced practically everything available as noted below. You will not find a 21 year Geo Metro anywhere that has been completely restored mechanically to be safe and reliable with these few miles. I owned 2 new in the early and mid 90's. Loved them for there simplicity and economy. In 2008 gas prices were like they are now $3.50~$4.00 a gallon. So I said to myself spend 15K to 20K for a hybrid or go cheap. I went cheap. The car has cost me nearly nothing in fuel. P A Perfect commuter car, huge money saver, car runs like a dream, smooth and very reliable.o Little to no maintenance yearly. (tune up consists of 3 plugs, rotor cap, distributor cap ( NGK & Beck Arnley)o Simple to work on.o Great handling in the snow.o Gas saver 50-52 MPG HWY @ 55 MPHo I spent thousands on parts and labor to restore the car to better than factory specification (True of most high quality aftermarket parts)o Everything has been done. Nothing to do but drive & SAVE $$$.
