This Taurus SHO will require some work. It starts, and runs very rough and the brake lines will require repair. This car can be parted for much more than the buy price if you have the time, room, and energy. The cams were welded due to an engine noise but it did not solve the problem. The cam welder claims it may require tensioners and new coil packs. After spending $1600 and still having the noise I lost interest (and the money spent). All in all it looks good and there aren't many of these SHO's around. I don't have the time to restore it as I was hoping to. Please consider buying this car and bring it back to where it needs to be. When it was new it had one of the sweetest engine sounds I ever heard. I think it can be restored to that status again.
