PLEASE READ AD before bidding and asking questions: 1966 Ford Mustang V8 289 C Code Manual! From 1st owner real 80 000 miles. SURPRISING TIME CAPSULE CAR - ORIGINAL SURVIVOR !!! With Clear and clean California title to my name and Documentation etc. LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY to own and drive a REAL ORIGINAL MUSTANG like you were in the late 60's. Car is in amazing condition NEVER BEEN RESTORED! Original Paint still in impressive condition for 48 years with a few scratches and nicks but no rust, no dents, no bondo and obviously no accident. Couple of slight bubbles next to back window. Slight paint touch up on driver rear quarter panel from driveway scratch 20 years ago. Body is EXTREMELY STRAIGHT with all original panels flat as they can be, no wavy panels or reflection. Interior is originally really nice, dash instruments, fronts seats could be refoamed to get the original puffy shape back but material is still real nice. This car is as fast or even faster than many so called restored (well butchered) A code I drove. This car needs nothing mechanically. The amazing part is the driving. Most mustangs even the restored ones are always all over the place because the front frame gets out of whack and the body becomes twisted after too many hundreds thousands of miles on screwed up roads. Most mustangs can't never get back that front end perfectly aligning with the rear end cause the structure is simply loose, twisted and washed up. It doesn't matter if you put new bushings, tie rods or sway bars, it doesn't fully correct that, even with a front end alignement. Alignment cheat but DO NOT FIX. This car is different, extremely tight, no rattling, super tight steering and suspension no pulling of any kind. This car just glide. WHY? Because it is a real 80 000 miles perfectly maintained and never abused car. Frankly I never drove a mustang like this and I owned a few, fastbacks convertibles etc. I fell in love with this car and I'm still conflicted to sell it cause I simply won't find one like this again no matter how much I want pay.Also if you live in California this car is currently registered until next summer. the black plates SSK 500 are the original black plates and come with the car. Beautiful Nigthmist blue with 2 tone blue interior. Engine was partially rebuilt cause car was sitting for many years, so some seals leaking had to be replaced. We then decided it to rebuilt what was needed.Block and Bores were perfect condition. New seal, gasket, rings bearing etc were replaced. Gear box, clutch, brakes no problem at all.This car can drive anywhere. EVERYTHING WORKS EVEN RADIO!If you want it perfect maybe redo the paint but frankly not sure I would repaint it cause it looks so nice with this original paint and patina. THIS CAR IS A KEEPER. I'll buy a car like this anytime instead of flashy painted or cheap restored cars full of covered rust and bondo. The only reason why I'm selling it is I have too many classic cars and mustangs. I 'm running out of space. And I only want to keep a real Shelby GT 350 I recently got and restore it.
