Vehicle Detail
For sale 1955 Buick Special. I am currently the 3rd owner of this car. It has always been stored inside a garage and out of the weather until 2 days ago. The car is a nailhead v8 with a 3 speed manual transmission with 81k miles on her total. This car is very solid, little to no rust on the body. All the trim and chrome pieces are on it except for one badge on the rear. I have the original paper work when it was bought in 1955 with all owners manual included. I know the whole history of it from the previous owners before me. The reason for selling it due to lack of space at my house, way to many toys and projects. This car is a project and needs some TLC. Im going to post more pics tomorrow of more detail. Im willing to work out a deal so email me with questions etc and I can give out my cell if needed to discuss issues. There is a reserve but im not unreal asking. Honest person so dont be afraid to hit me up, wont hide anything. Thanks for looking On Aug-21-14 at 17:26:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Hey guys hopefully my original description is still above this, trying to add more info about the car on my mobile. Also more pics Friday night I promise ill have them up rain or shine. So some issues, starter gave out last month, tapped it fixed it for a day or 2 then finally gave out. When I was driving it I noticed clutch was slipping more & more so thats why I parked it. Dont know why my pics arent clear, usually a great camera but drivers window cracked all in 3 places and needs keys. Door lock set is 55 I believe on here but ill have to check. P.S. this car doesnt start with a key, youtube has videos, you start this car by pushing the gas pedal. Actually pretty fun to do, old technology, vacuum system in the carb. So to sum it up, needs tires, starter, clutch to run safe. And i dont want someone getting hurt so please upgrade brakes. They work but once again older technology, single piston and that car is a big car. On that note 1500 in parts to get her rolling safe. But it does run it doesn't leak nor smoke, shifts smooth no grinds.
