Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1968 Mustang Fastback. The car came equipped from the factory with a 302 4 barrel, air conditioning, power steering, deluxe interior, and fold down back seat. This car has been completely restored and no shortcuts were taken. Every nut and bolt was removed from the car. The body was stripped, and all rust removed and new metal installed. The entire car was sprayed with PPG DP epoxy primer inside and out to include the under body. The car then was sprayed with urethane primer and block sanded before it was painted it's beautiful Presidential blue (X code) base coat clear coat. The paint looks great, with only minor blemishes. There is a dent on the bottom center of the front valance that is only noticeable from under the car. The interior has been completely restored as well with new upholstery, seat foam, head liner, dash pad, and carpet. All of the interior A/C items are installed, but the car does not have the under hood A/C items. The floor console needs to be restored and installed, but is does come with the car and is complete down to the AM radio. It is a four speed console, almost impossible to find. The car is missing the overhead console The car originally was equipped with an automatic transmission, but has been converted to a four speed. The entire drive train is from a 1968 Mustang, unfortunately not from this car, but still vintage. All the metal tags are still intact for the engine, transmission, and rear end. The engine has been completely rebuilt and has very few miles. It was bored 0.040 over, and balanced. The heads have screw in studs, guide plates and roller rockers. It has a Comp Cams Nostalgia series 289 HI-PO cam. It has 289 HI-PO exhaust manifolds, and a dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, and GT style polished stainless steel exhaust tips. It has an Edlebrock 600 CFM carburetor installed. The car rolls on 17" X 8" Vintage Wheel Works Vintage 45 wheels, shod with 245/45ZR17 BF Goodrich G-Force TA KDW's. This is a really nice car and only needs a couple of items to be complete, The engine runs great and sounds awesome. I have too many projects presently, and just don't have time to drive and enjoy the car. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. I will require a $1000.00 deposit 24 hours after auction closes via Pay Pal, unless previous arrangements have been made. Full payment due no later than 7 day after auction ends, and funds must clear before the car will be released. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally.
