1967 Mustang Fastback GT 390 Factory Black on Black. Very Rare. True GT. Have copies of most part receipts for this car. This Mustang is a late 1967 built 390 GT . Drivetrain: Matching 390 C7ME block was line bored and bored .30 and rebuilt with top of the line forged flat top pistons,moly rings, C7AE-B cobra jet rods,.10 under clevit main and rod bearings.Competition cam and lifters. Melling oil pump, all new gaskets, rubber rear main seal, new waterpump, etc... Matching GT 14 bolt heads are also rebuilt and like new. Engine filled with 10w40 Castrol and Lucas break in oil additive. Should be changed after 1000 miles or regular driving. Engine has had its initial break in upon first start up. New factory rebuilt 4300 ford 4bbl carburetor. Toploader transmission has been rebuilt and in great condition. Tag is RUG M1 which matches the car also. Hurst competition plus shifter which is not original. All new clutch components and 11 1/2 inch clutch added. The posi 9 inch equa-lock 3.25 posi rear was completely rebuilt by Precision Machine of Lodi Ca. They also did the sandblasting, seal, prime and a few other things. Aluminum 3 row Radiator and high performance fan. Stainless exhaust system. Sounds great. The engine runs smooth and strong. We have a Video of the car running.Just ask and we will send it to you. Suspension: Complete Grabatrack Super Starter Kit suspension system has been added to this car from mustangs plus. Lowers the car about an inch. The kit included everything under the car as far as shocks, springs, coils, sway bar, control arms and all bushings. Negative wedge kit added. Bump steer kit added. Great handling upgrades. 　 Brakes and Tires: Front and Rear Baer Disc Brake system has been added. Top of the line stopping power. Rebuilt original power brake booster. New 17 inch Tires and Rims. Interior: The interior has been redone. Fold down rear seat. New bucket seat covers. New bucket seat foam.New Carpet, headliner, dash pad, instrument cluster bezel and blue led bulbs, dash trim, interior quarter panels and panel lights, all weather stripping, wood steering wheel, rear view mirror, door panels and door hardware. The heater box was taken apart cleaned painted and a new heater core was added. New driver window regulator was installed. We have the original console but it needs restored and a shifter plate. A new reproduction console can be purchased if you want one. Many other parts were installed that we may have missed. Exterior: The last owner had the car completely stripped down, sandblasted and taken down to bare metal then sealed. Have receipts for work. The exterior of the car was painted with PPG DBC black base coat and then clear coated. It was then stored in pieces until we got it.The driver and passenger floor pans had some minor pin holes so we replaced both sides with full length pans. In 1967 the factory did not put a passenger side front torque box so we added one. Very nice welding on the repairs. See photo's All glass is original excluding the front windshield. We tried to keep this car as close to original as possible. All the new suspension and Baer brake parts just improve the performance of this 1967 classic mustang. If the buyer wants to change to all original components that's completely up to them. New windshield, all exterior weather strip, exterior mirror, stubby antenna, back up lights, gt gas cap, bumpers, tail lights, fuel tank, hoses, fog lights, and many other new parts. GT emblems and white stripes included new in box if buyer wants to install them. The Vin code is stamped on the drivers and passenger side aprons. Stamped twice in the drivers side.The original data plate is still on the drivers door. This is a true California built S Code 1967 GT 390 FASTBACK factory Black on Black. Marti Report says it all.
