NO RESERVE!!!!! For sale I offer you this ALL ORIGINAL 1956 Chevy 3200 Comanche Stepside Pickup. This truck is offered with the original 235ci I-6 motor and 3 speed transmission. The motor is not locked and will not need much to get her running. All the original "tin" is there minus the air cleaner. The bed is the 8ft version that came standard on the 3200s. The truck was bought in Fredericksburg VA and hauled back to Amissville. The truck was bought as an abandoned vehicle and as such carries no title. Fortunately in VA this is easily fixed as the state is very kind on antique vehicles and just requires a bill of sale which I will provide the winner of the auction. UPDATE: I have started the process of titling the truck in VA. It is a 60 or so day process and once completed title will be clean and in my name. If I secure clean title before the truck is sold the price will go up!!!! This is a perfect truck for the person looking to do a original resto with accurate motor/tranny combo. Look around and I promise you the 3200 stepside is a hard one to find. Also included as you see from the pictures is a VERY VERY rare original brush guard and mounting hardware as well as vintage trailer hitch platform in the rear (actually attached to the frame from the factory in Baltimore as a local "farmer's package"). These two items alone are worth 100s each and I've been offered $800 for them both but don't want to separate them from the truck as I feel it makes it that special. The frame is in good shape and the wheels roll easy. There is rust in the usual places and the pictures are accurate except I have cleaned out the bed and the cab of all the debris and dirt/junlk since. I also removed all the old rotting wood from the bed and cleaned off the rear end. I am pressure washing the truck this week as well. The truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. $500 will be required to be deposited within 24hrs of winning bid and the remainder of the balance will be paid within 72 hours and if not the truck will be reposted.
