Vehicle Detail
I am finally selling my baby. I've had and cherished this 6 since 1993. I am the second owner. I originally bought it in Winnetka, IL and then drove it to New York City where it then moved with me to Cambridge, MA for Business School. After graduation I took it to the Philadelphia suburbs for a few years and then to Seattle, WA for 5 years. In 2005 my BMW finally came back to New Jersey where it's been for the past 9 years. Of course besides the original Chicago drive the moving truck carried my precious Beemer with me wherever our family moved. The majority miles on this seasoned BMW are highway miles. These cars are designed to be used... I'm finally parting with it since i've run out of garage space and need to get a 4 wheel drive. Since this car had 37K miles it's had nothing but Mobile 1 synthetic oil. The engine is silky smooth and it literally purrs. Last year I finally refreshed the exterior and interior ($4K+) and in fact I upgraded the interior seats to M6 sport seats. Long gone are the lame TRX metric wheels which were replaced with BMW OEM 16" rims. The car has been maintained meticulously by professional mechanics. The Transmission was fully rebuilt 2 years ago, a new Bosch alternator was installed literally last week. New Denso AC compressor installed last year. Recent freon leak discovered and I will have the AC gasket replaced this week to restore the AC to nice & chilly. Note that the AC freon system was converted from R-112 to R-134. Garage queens might be more collectible but my focus has been smiles per miles and I hope the next owner will continue this tradition. As you can see by the many upgrades below, there has been no shortage of TLC applied to my baby. Subtle modern elegant add-ons included by category are valued at > $5000 in parts + labor not including $4k in recent exterior & interior refresh. AC refresh & transmission rebuild total over $3500 to get to $12,500 which doesn't even include the value of the car... This car is ready for it's next chapter of life! Good luck!
