The Body is Solid and Required No Metal Work Prior to Repaint.. The Trans is a mid sixties M21. Casting number is 3851325 = 1964/65 M21 Internals have been Updated, the gear ratios are factory small block gear set, specific ratios unknown. The are NO Squeaks Leaks or Rattles. Car is Amazingly Solid. The only thing it needs are Lower control arm bushings and possibly a drag-link to tighten up the manual steering. It does have some play. Not Excessive But Could be Tighter. Headers Looks Stainless but could also be Edelbrok Elite Aluminized Headers. Exhaust Sounds Like my Stock 69 Chevelle Big Block. All the Glass is Original. Front windows converted to power, vent windows removed. The rear windshield has fine horizontal lines in some areas. Can't see it thru mirror, only when looking up close at an angle. Does Not inhibit vision in Any Way. The 350/290hp Crate motor was installed in 2009. Less than 1000 miles of driving. Radiator was re-cored at this time. New Aluminum Fuel Tank. Gauge Works Properly. Bumpers and Body Chrome all re done with paint approx 5 years ago. The Bad...................................................... As you can see in pics, there is the usual rocker panel and bracing rot. The majority of rocker is Intact on both sides. Please look closely at pics and email with any questions.
