I bought this car a few years ago with the intention of getting into racing. The car had spun a bearing and had not seen the track in a couple of years. I’ve replaced the motor with a 79 vintage 2.3 liter out of a Mustang. I’ve also replaced the clutch, carb, gas tank (not fuel cell), sending unit, emergency cut off switch and electric fan. I also got the car painted a few months ago. It runs, stops, turns as expected. Times change, plans change and the requirements to get an SCCA license is more than I felt like taking on.
